La funcionalidad de esta obra permitía a los espectadores lavar sus manos, drenando cualquier impureza o suciedad a través de la escultura como alegoría de la constante información mediática a la que estamos expuestos. Sin embargo, la interacción del público en el espacio de la Galería también parece insinuarnos cierto simbolismo acerca de la cualidad purificadora del arte.
